Bank reconciliation is often considered a tedious, labour-intensive task. Fortunately, QuickBooks takes the difficulty out of bank reconciliation. In this course, you will be shown how to perform a bank reconciliation in QuickBooks. We will go through a number of scenarios. For example, we will show you how to start a bank reconciliation for the first time, whether or not the bank balance was already established, and then reconcile the bank statement for each month thereafter. We will also review how to find and correct discrepancies during bank reconciliation.

In this course, the last of three to discuss QuickBooks purchase orders and vendors, you will learn how to set up subcontractors, enter invoices from subcontractors, enter invoices that will be drop-shipped to customers and allocate items, expenses and time entered on purchases to customers.

Also on the agenda, the setup of finance charges, accounting for NSF cheques, and handling bad debts.

In the third of three courses designed to teach you about QuickBooks sales and customers, you will be shown how to enter estimates and create progress invoices, add billable time and cost expenses to customer invoices, bill items to customers that were drop-shipped from a vendor, enter subtotals and discounts on invoices and prepare customer statements. You will also view various reports.

In this course, you will learn how to create multiple letters in Microsoft Word directly from QuickBooks using your customer, vendor or employee information. You will learn how to prepare collection letters, create letters from scratch, convert an existing Microsoft Word document to a QuickBooks letter and print labels for selected customers and vendors.
