In the second of three courses designed to teach you about QuickBooks sales and customers, you will be shown how to correct various types of transactions entered in the Customer Centre. You will learn more specialized techniques, like entering and applying customer prepayments (deposits), and entering customer overpayments, refunds and credits. Also on the agenda, the setup of finance charges, accounting for NSF cheques, and handling bad debts.
QuickBooks Sales and Customers - Level 3
In the third of three courses designed to teach you about QuickBooks sales and customers, you will be shown how to enter estimates and create progress invoices, add billable time and cost expenses to customer invoices, bill items to customers that were drop-shipped from a vendor, enter subtotals and discounts on invoices and prepare customer statements. You will also view various reports.
QuickBooks Sales Tax Training
All businesses that provide a service or sell goods need to track and pay sales tax. In this training course, you will learn how sales taxes are calculated in QuickBooks. You will be shown how to set up tax codes, sales tax items and sales tax agencies and learn how they keep track of sales taxes in QuickBooks transactions. You will also learn how to make GST/HST and PST instalment payments, make sales tax adjustments and file sales tax returns.
QuickBooks Set Up: Migrating Existing Company Data Into QuickBooks
If you are moving to QuickBooks from a manual accounting system or other accounting package, this course will show you how to get started. Learn how to set up a company in QuickBooks by creating a QuickBooks company file, set up users and passwords, create the Chart of Account and enter opening balances.
Using Lists in QuickBooks
Lists are one of the most important building blocks in QuickBooks which makes this a fundamental course in learning how to use QuickBooks efficiently. The use of QuickBooks lists makes data entry efficient and consistent. In this course you will learn how lists save time in data entry. You will learn the importance of entering detailed information in lists and the fundamental information you learn in this course can be applied to most lists in QuickBooks. Throughout the course, we will demonstrate how to work with lists while using the Customers & Jobs, Vendors, and Other Names lists.
Using Microsoft® Word with QuickBooks Accounting data
QuickBooks has built-in features that enable it to communicate with Microsoft Word, so you can easily use Microsoft Word with QuickBooks accounting data to create documents. In this course, you will learn how to create multiple letters in Microsoft Word directly from QuickBooks using your customer, vendor or employee information. You will learn how to prepare collection letters, create letters from scratch, convert an existing Microsoft Word document to a QuickBooks letter and print labels for selected customers and vendors.
Working with Bank Accounts in QuickBooks
Standard banking questions that affect businesses of all sizes are answered in this QuickBooks course. Learn about writing cheques vs. entering bills, transferring money between bank accounts and managing petty cash. You will also learn how to enter transactions in the account register and manage loans.
Working with Transactions in QuickBooks
This course will teach you how to work quickly and efficiently in QuickBooks. You'll learn how to quickly find transactions and then modify, delete or void them and view the changes made in the audit trail. You'll also learn how to memorize transactions that you enter in QuickBooks on a regular basis so they can be automatically recorded with very little effort on your part.
