This Learn QuickBooks course consists of the following five courses:

Navigating in QuickBooks course

In this course you’ll be shown how to make QuickBooks easy to navigate using the workflow arrows on the Home page, various menus, QuickBooks centres, and icons. For easy access to the functions you use most, learn how to customize the icon bar and use keyboard shortcuts. See how to set up personal preferences to customize the QuickBooks desktop.

Using Lists in QuickBooks

In this course, you’ll learn how QuickBooks lists makes data entry efficient and consistent. In this course you will learn how lists save time in data entry. You will learn the importance of entering detailed information in lists and the fundamental information you learn in this course can be applied to most lists in QuickBooks. Throughout the course, we will demonstrate how to work with lists while using the Customers & Jobs list, the Vendors list, and the Other Names lists.

Working with Transactions in QuickBooks

In this course, you’ll learn how to work quickly and efficiently in QuickBooks. You’ll learn how to quickly find transactions and then modify, delete or void them and view the changes made in the audit trail. You’ll also learn how to memorize transactions that you enter in QuickBooks on a regular basis so they can be automatically recorded with very little effort on your part.

QuickBooks Sales and Customers

In this course, you will learn how to enter customers in QuickBooks and how to enter daily transactions including QuickBooks sales: invoices and sales receipts, customer payments and deposits. You will learn how to access customer information and transactions in the QuickBooks Customer Centre. You will review how to add and modify customer records and learn how to enter customers “on the fly” during transaction entry. This course also shows you how to print or e-mail invoices in batches and view relevant Customers & Receivables and Sales reports.

QuickBooks Payables and Vendors

In this course, you will learn how to enter vendors in QuickBooks and you will learn how to enter daily transactions including purchase orders, item receipts, and vendor bills. You’ll also learn how to pay vendor bills including partial payments and payments with a discount. You will learn how to print individual cheques and print cheques in a batch and you’ll learn when to use the Write Cheques form to pay vendor bills. You’ll view various Vendor & Payables, Purchases and Expense reports, and you will learn how to print the Missing Cheques report to view a list of missing and duplicate cheques.
